Why we exist
Artists sign contracts and lose the rights to their own music. Churches pour their hearts into a livestream that goes out to an empty room on a platform that does not care about them. Community organisations have stories that could change lives — and no way to get them in front of the people who need to hear them.

Because this is home, and because Kansas City has a claim no other American city has: in 2017 it became the first United States city named a UNESCO Creative City of Music. The designation cites the city's heritage in jazz, Kansas City swing, blues and gospel.
