Signal & Song will not quote you a circulation figure. This is the premiere edition, and any number we gave you would be a guess dressed up as data. What we will tell you is the standard the magazine is held to — because that is the thing your ad is sitting next to.
Every number is attributed
Named source, sample size, field date — or it does not run. Vendor-produced figures are labelled as vendor-produced.
Data gaps are stated, not filled
We declined to print the year's most-shared church attendance statistic because the research behind it had been withdrawn.
A founding position cannot be bought later
